Production Technician

Purpose of Position:  To make sure pre and post show preparations for the show are made timely.  To entertain and delight the customers of the Stampede or Pirates Voyage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Assist in the performance of the Stampede show by making pre and post show preparations for the show.
• The technical staff will insure proper maintenance of all props, wagons and technical equipment.
• The technician agrees that he/she shall assume all risks related to performing his or her job and will inspect all facilities and equipment and approve or disapprove prior to each performance.  The technician must call any safety hazard to the attention of the Production manager prior to each performance.
• Responsible for maintaining lights and battery packs on all finale costumes and Belles dresses.
• Responsible for fogging, watering and dragging arena.
• Assists production manager in training and scheduling techs.
• All technicians will be required to interact with our customers.  They must be friendly and outgoing.  They should always be on stage anytime there is a chance that a customer could be present.
• Each technician will participate in a prescribed fitness program that is designed to minimize injury and improve the fitness of our performers.
• Cleaning and care of all backstage areas is the responsibility of the technician.
• Must be able to work around animals.

• Must get along well with fellow employees and maintain a professional business relationship at all times.
• Must work at a rapid pace.
• Helping in other areas/departments as requested by management.
• Must maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance at the job.

• Occasional pushing/pulling of up to100+ lbs.
