Plumbing Industry Intern

A chance to learn how a plumbing company operates, from the bottom to the top.  Some aspects of the industry that will be taught during the internship includes, but is not limited to, the following

• Shadow Field superintendent, to observe new construction installations
• Shadow a service technician, to observe the daily duties of plumbing/HVAC repair in a residential and/or commercial environment
• Shadow the plumbing estimator, to observe the fundamentals of reading and interpreting project documents
• Shadow the Total Station Layout Operator, to see how field layout is performed
• Learn fundamental theories behind plumbing systems, and the importance of Codes
• See the important rolls of support staff, including Customer Service representatives, Dispatchers, Service Managers, warehouse, and delivery

• Candidate must possess an active interest in pursuing a career in the trades- of which include one or more of the following- plumbing, heating, cooling, or electrical.
• Candidate must be willing to dedicate his/her time to a full semester of internship.
