Description
Learn about marine biology while living in the Smokies! Would you like to expand your animal knowledge? Do you have what it takes to take care of animals and where they live? We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our animal care team. We are committed to developing the next generation of environmental conservationists while inspiring and engaging them in a hands on environment.
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in a high school program to receive credit
- Ability to bend, stoop and stand for up to 6 hours at a time
- Must be energetic, courteous and professional
- Must love talking to people!
- Must be approachable and enthusiastic about communicating with guests
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision
- Shadow multiple positions and train in a variety of tasks
