Five Oaks Farm Kitchen Restaurant Manager Internship

Five Oaks Farm Kitchen is part of a locally owned restaurant company.  KBS Restaurant Group operates 15 restaurants, a commissary, a catering division, and the food and beverage operations for the Gatlinburg Convention Center.  We have recently opened a new KBS Corporate Office is Sevierville.

This opportunity would consist of learning the responsibilities for most of the hourly positions.  Once the intern has fundamental knowledge of the positions he/she will learn the cycle of service and how each position depends on the other departments to create a memorable experience for our valued guests.

The intern will have the opportunity to work with different restaurant managers during a shift to experience the different leadership styles used to align team members with a common goal.  It is a hands on position that could lead to an entry level salary career upon high school graduation.

The ideal candidate would be willing to work in a fast paced environment with 150 employees and 7 managers. Being comfortable talking to the public is a critical part of the program.  The intern will need to be adaptable and flexible enough to physically support the team members when necessary.  Being respectful and courteous to everyone is a minimum expectation.

The shifts for the position would require weekend availability.  Being on time and in uniform is a minimum expectation.
