Description
This experience consists of eighty (80) hours of unpaid job shadowing for the Fall 2024 Semester. Students will have the opportunity to visit each of the thirty (30) departments that report to the County Mayor’s Office as well as State Offices and the Offices of the County’s Elected Officials. This experience is recommended for juniors and seniors at Seymour High School, Northview Senior Academy, and Sevier County High School. The following agenda is tentative and subject to change.

Facilities & Safety - Facilities & Construction Projects, Maintenance, & Safety
Week 4
Community Planning & Development - Building Inspection, GIS, Planning & Codes Enforcement
Week 5
Community Planning & Development - Environmental Health, Storm Water Services, & Water Department

Government Services - Library Services, Senior Center, Probation Services, & Youth Services
