Job Summary 

We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are looking for a fast paced work environment where you will be able to influence the direction of a new company. As a Retail Management Intern, you will be responsible for safety and customer service excellence. You will work to ensure customers leave safe and happy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a positive and uplifting guest experience
• Work with fellow team members to meet customer needs and daily goals
• Create a safe and fun atmosphere for all guests and coworkers. 
• Maintain a working knowledge of products and pricing.
• Maintain an accurate inventory account for ordering purposes.
• Support the administrative needs of the general manager and managers on duty as needed
• Be responsible for an accurate till
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to speak with and direct groups of customers
• Must have a strong desire to learn
• Must be available nights and weekends
• Strong team player with adaptability
• Decisive and able to quickly make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Able and willing to work flexible schedules/shifts
• Previous tourism/entertainment experience is a plus

Internship Requirements

• Interns must be enrolled as a student in Sevier County Schools at the time of their application
• Interns must work a minimum of 180 hours during the semester of their internship.
• Interns must complete a self-evaluation and manager evaluation by their last day of work.
